Department of Customs Management aims to train graduates with the necessary equipment in today's business world where global competition is experienced. In order to train you with the competency expected from the students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Customs Management, experience is transferred from competent managers and successful entrepreneurs to you by establishing strong teaching staff, as well as engage with the business world. It is provided with internship opportunities to the students in the private sector during the summer months, and in this way, students have the chance to put the theoretical knowledge received at school into practice. In addition, graduates of the Customs Management Department can have the opportunity to work in the private and public sectors. Graduates who accomplish the department can be employed with titles such as foreign trade specialist, customs officer, customs consultant and customs investigator in the Ministry of Commerce, Customs Offices, Customs Brokerage, Free Zones, logistics and warehouse businesses, national and international companies or in the customs areas of these companies.
 
The syllabus of the Department of Customs Management consists of compulsory and elective courses. From the third year, our students are provided with the opportunity to specialize in elective courses in airport management, maritime logistics, cargo management, railroad transportation and digital marketing management, which are determined in line with their interests. During the four-year education, students have necessary well-equipped about entrepreneurship.
